# Análisis 45: Reactor cerrado. Oxi-combustión y aire seco

Un combustible gaseoso formado según una composición volumétrica por CO<sub>2</sub> (28.57 %) y CO (71.43 %) y se quema en una cámara de combustión a volumen constante. Inicialmente hay 0.74 kg de combustible y 1.07 kg de aire. Ambos, combustible y aire están a 25 ºC inicialmente. La presión total inicial es de 355 kPa y la temperatura alcanzada por los productos de combustión es de 2366 ºC. Considerando:

* Oxidante solo oxígeno (oxi-combustión)
* Oxidante aire seco

Obtener:

1. Productos de la combustión.
2. Presión alcanzada por los productos de combustión.
3. Volumen del depósito.
4. Coeficiente de exceso de aire.
5. Temperatura adiabática de la combustión.
6. Calor intercambiado.

El aire contiene aproximadamente un 21 % de oxígeno y un 79 % de nitrógeno por volumen, y está fácilmente disponible. El oxígeno puro debe procesarse y, en la mayoría de las aplicaciones, el costo de procesar el oxígeno supera el beneficio de un mayor control de la combustión.&#x20;

Los medidores de flujo másico térmico miden los caudales de flujo de aire y combustible para proporcionar una combustión óptima, y evitar la presencia de inquemados. La eficiencia de la combustión depende de la relación aire-combustible. Se producirá una combustión incompleta si hay muy poco oxígeno para reaccionar con todo el carbono del combustible (en este caso el coeficiente de exceso de aire el de 0.96<1). En este caso, hay una reducción en la eficiencia de la combustión a medida que se descarga combustible no quemado o parcialmente quemado (monóxido de carbono).
